Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She was awarded the best actress award for her roles in Nashville The 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 where she played Claudia Shepard. The year 2015 saw her was in her role as Jerrica Jem on the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was chosen as valedictory of students of the 2012 class after she graduated. Harvard University was willing to admit her. She declined the invitation twice. It was the second time that it was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the made-for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was a major player in the Nashville series in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar condition in an interview that she provided an interview to NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples at the end of September as among America's best young actors.
